Working on a cruise ship is one way to see the world while getting paid to do it. Of course, you need to remember that it's not a holiday and that you'll be working every moment that there are passengers on board, and that you'll only really get to see the ports where passengers are embarking or disembarking, and that this isn't one big holiday. However, you will be able to see a lot of world.
There are few other jobs were you get to see so many beautiful places and resorts in the world while get paid for it. Sure, it's not quite a holiday but working on a cruise ship is working on a cruise ship, and you will be able to enjoy many of the excellent facilities that the passengers will. While you will not get such a good room, you will have your whole accommodation paid for.
And while you do not have the luck of getting to check out all of the beautiful on deck activities that are available for the passengers to enjoy, you will at least be able to use the pool etc when there are no passengers on board. As a matter of protocol you will not be able to play on the slides, or drink in the bar with customers after all you do not want to embarrass the company but you will be able to have a lot of fun with the rest of the staff. And the staff will be fairly well provided for. After all, the staff will be on the ship for many months too, and often the staff are almost in equal number to the passengers.
So there will be fun facilities that the staff can use in order to relax. Perhaps there will even be a place for the staff to drink.
And you can be sure that the food will be fairly good even if it's just the stuff from the buffet that the other people on the ship didn't actually want to eat. Another good thing about working on a cruise ship is the pay. You will be paid fairly well, no matter what you do. You see, when you work on a cruise ship you will not have to pay taxes. You will largely be earning your money while at sea and you will find that there no country that will try to tax you for the money you've earned.
