This swanky internationl resort town is tucked comfortably between an impossibly blue Pacific Ocean and palm-fringed mountains. Aside from its picturesque surroundings, some claim it maintains an aura of its authentic Mexican colonial city while offering the comforts of a modern infastructure. Ever since the 1964 movie 'Night of the Iguana' with Richard Burton and Ava Gardner was filmed here, visitors have been flocking to its charming cobblestone streets, soft, sandy beaches, cool riverwalks,and white-washed houses as well as its 'sizzling' nightlife and eco-tours.
